Abstract
Thermoelectric materials are a class of functional materials capable of directly converting thermal energy into electrical energy and vice versa. With advantages such as environmental friendliness, low-noise, high reliability, and ease of miniaturization, they demonstrate broad application prospects in various fields. However, conventional experimental and simulation approaches are often costly and time-consuming, posing great challenges to the development of high-performance materials. In recent years, artificial intelligence has demonstrated strong potential in the research and discovery of thermoelectric materials. This review summarizes the applications of artificial intelligence in predicting and optimizing thermoelectric transport properties, elucidates its transformative role in accelerating material discovery and performance enhancement, and further outlines the current challenges and future perspectives in this field.
