Liyi Li, Professor

Prof. Liyi Li received his Ph.D. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016 in the major of Materials Science and Engineering. He invented a high-through deep silicon etch technology, which could fabricate high-aspect-ratio microstructures on silicon substrates with high precision and superior sidewall quality. He has worked at In tel Corporation for 5 years as Senior Engineer, responsible for materials and failure analysis of advanced packaging and interconnects processes. He has authored 44 journal papers, 8 IEEE conference proceedings and 1 U.S. Patent.
