Xu Lisheng is currently a full professor and the director of the Department of Biomedical Electronics of Northeast University. He served as chairman of the Theory and Education Special Committee of the Chinese Medical Information Society, vice chairman of the Diagnostic Information Branch of the Chinese Medical Information Research Association, senior member of IEEE, senior member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, etc. He is the editorial board member of international magazines Computers in Biology and Medicine, Physiology Measurement, BME Online, etc. He has participated in 27 projects, including national key R&D programs, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Hong Kong Government Foundation and other projects. The main research direction is the new technology of intelligent non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular system based on multimodal data. He has published more than 210 academic papers, 2 monographs in both Chinese and English, and authorized 27 invention patents. Due to his research achievements, he has won one first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Liaoning province, one first prize and one second prize of Natural Science Achievement of Liaoning province.
