Congratulations to Professor Lintao Cai selected as IAAM Fellow

It is great to announce that Professor Lintao Cai, Director of the Institute of Biomedicine and Biotechnology in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Integration Technology, has been selected as the Fellow of International Association of Advanced Materials(IAAM Fellow) for his outstanding contributions to "Advancement of Materials to Global Excellence" . This is the second time that Professor Cai was recognized by international academic organizations since last year he was selected as the Fellow of American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE Fellow). Congratulations!

 

Prof. Lintao Cai is the director of Institute of Biomedicine and Biotechnology in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Xiamen University in 1995. From 1999 to 2001, he was sponsored by Japan Society of the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and worked as a research fellow in the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research at Osaka University. He joined the Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology at Rice University in 2001 and the Department of Electrical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University between 2002 and 2007. Dr. Cai’s scientific research includes nanomedicine and biomaterials to explore in vivo molecular imaging nanoprobes, smart drug-delivery system and tumor-targeted phototherapy. He has more than 189 publications in peer reviewed journals (i.e. JACS, Nano lett, ACS Nano, Adv Mater, etc, H-index 51) with over 9300 citations, 89 authorized patents and 7 PCT international patents. He is a council member of Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), a board director for Chinese American Society of Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology (CASNN), a member of American Chemical Society (ACS) and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
